- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I had an encounter with a dog (nothing to do with my username) that resulted in my nose being shredded, and I went into a little bit of shock as my wife drove me to the hospital.The Fauquier County ER staff were all over it, and stabilized my vitals within minutes of arriving at the hospital. The hospital tried to contact a couple of plastic surgeons to look at me and to stitch my nose back together, but they were all on vacation. Dr. Larsen later came in and stitched everything up. I visited two plastic surgeons within a couple of days of the incident; both stated that whoever did the stitches did an amazing job, that the alignment of the two areas stitched together was excellent, and both recommended that no further action was needed other than wound care and minimal scar management. Two weeks have passed since the incident and everyone, especially me, is amazed how well the area has healed. Thanks to Dr. Larsen and the entire Fauquier Hospital ER staff!January 14, 2017by Coda Dog
