Customer Reviews about Piedmont Internal Medicine
- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I would give zero stars if I could. Dr. Jae Lee had been my PCP for several years. Up until last year, when I suffered a serious health crisis, I had been pleased with her professionalism, bedside manner, and knowledge. Since Dr. Lee was not taking my illness, any of my symptoms or my concerns seriously, I asked my husband to accompany me to a follow up visit, something I'd never done before in my life. He too was shocked by her arrogance and dismissive attitude. When I asked her if she was going to test my blood to determine what virus was attacking my body and which had already caused me to go to the ER twice, and once by ambulance, her response was, "There's no point since there are thousands of viruses." She remarked that I "simply had the flu". I said, "Dr. Lee, this is nothing like the flu," to which she responded, "Then you've never had the flu." When I asked her if she reviewed the test results that were faxed over to her from the hospital, her reply was, "Have you seen how many emails I have?" I can't possibly read everything." To make a long story short...I was diagnosed with "multiple medical conditions" some very serious, including a "very complex autonomic disorder" that is responsible for many of the symptoms I continue to experience following last year's viral infection. As my doctor, there was so much that Dr. Lee could have and should have done [for me] but her arrogance and dismissive attitude got in the way. A friend of mine, who also is a patient of Dr. Lee's, had a difficult time believing what happened to me but recently experienced something similar and has now changed her opinion of this doctor. If Dr. Lee is unable to regain some semblance of humanity and uphold her duties as a doctor, perhaps it's time for her to "retire" from the medical profession.September 30, 2017by Lori England
